Guest Information
A plain guide to arriving at Festival Boutique Hotel in Danau Kota and settling in, covering the details guests ask about most often.
Everything below is written the way the front desk would explain it in person, without small print hidden behind friendly language. Where a policy can change, or where the conditions depend on the rate you choose, we have said so rather than leaving you to find out at check-in.

Staying with family
Children of all ages are welcome at the hotel, and the family room with two double beds is usually the most comfortable choice for a group travelling together. There is no age restriction for check-in.
Cribs and extra beds are not available, so it is worth planning your sleeping arrangements around the beds included in the room you select.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the property. If you are travelling with an animal, arrangements will need to be made elsewhere before your stay.
Deposit and taxes
A damage deposit of MYR 50 in cash is required on arrival. It is refundable at check-out, subject to an inspection of the room, so keep the receipt with your documents until you leave.
A tourism tax of RM10 per room per night applies to foreign guests, while Malaysian citizens and qualifying permanent residents are exempt. Government taxes can change, so we encourage you to confirm the current statutory requirement at the time of booking and again at check-in.
Cancellation and prepayment
Cancellation and prepayment conditions vary by accommodation type and by the rate you select. Rather than paraphrase them here, we point guests to the booking page, where the exact conditions for your chosen stay are shown before you confirm.
If anything in the conditions is unclear, call the front desk on +60 3-4143 6666 and the team will talk it through with you.
Arrival handled without fuss.
Check-in runs from 2:00 PM until midnight, the desk is staffed around the clock, and the MYR 50 deposit and tourism tax details above are the only extras to plan for before you arrive.
Anything else you are unsure about, from bedding arrangements to reaching the hotel late at night, is a quick phone call away.
